Excelsior’s
and Lakers battle
for the supremacy once again

Brampton, ON – Aug15/07
The
Brampton Excelsior’s and the Peterborough Lakers
will meet for the fifth year in row to determine
the MSL champion. The winner will head out west
to compete for the coveted Mann Cup against either
the New Westminster Salmonbellies or the Coquitlam
Adinacs.
The
schedule is as follows:
Thursday
August 16th in Peterborough @ 8:00
Sunday August 19th in Brampton @ 7:00
Tuesday August 21st in Peterborough @ 8:00
Thursday August 23rd in Brampton @ 8:00
Saturday August 25th in Peterborough @ 7:00 – if
necessary
Monday August 27th in Brampton @ 8:00 – if necessary
Wednesday August 29th in Peterborough @ 8:00 – if
necessary
The
teams met 3 times during the regular season.
Thursday
June 7th saw the two teams battle to a 5-5 draw
in Brampton
Thursday July 12th the Excelsiors defeated the Lakers
8-7 in Peterborough
Sunday July 22nd the Lakers returned the favour
with a 10-8 victory in Brampton
This
will be a series that is sure to entertain.
