This coming season is shaping up to be something really special. With the Mann Cup being battled for in Ontario this year the MSL is heating up with teams scrambling to put themselves in a position to host the grueling battle for one of the toughest championships in sport to win.

Brampton hasn't been patiently waiting either and have gone out and secured the services of former Excelsior's and NLL superstars Dan Dawson and Colin Doyle to complement their offense while maintaining the solid core of the team that has led them to the Ontario finals for the past 10 years.

The coaching staff of Cordingley, Sanderson, and Barbosa will be behind the bench once again and former team Captain Mike Hasen will be joining them. They are looking to build upon the success that they have had and hope to take it to the next level that has eluded them these past 4 years.

Also returning are the Captains from last year. Last year Captain Dan Teat broke the 500 career goal mark and became the all-time leading scorer for the Brampton Excelsiors. Dan has played for Brampton his entire life and shows no sign of slowing down. Josh Sanderson managed to play in every single game last year and came up just shy of leading the league in points. He has been a focal point of this team for years and hopefully for years to come. Phil Sanderson played a major role on the stingiest defense in the league. The goaltending of Cosmo and Miller might have been amazing, but they will be the first to admit that a lot of the credit goes to the players in front of them.
